This honorary award recognizes nurses who have devoted 40 or more years of service to the profession.

This initiative expands the impact of nursing leadership by increasing the number of nurses serving on boards and in policy-making positions. We offer board service training and
link nurses to service opportunities.

Expanding Access to Care
Project Lead: Toni DeChiacchio
The project is to improve access to care, especially in rural areas of WV by modernizing current practice statutes that inhibit the full autonomous practice of Advanced Practice Nurses (APRNs). APRNs include: Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse-Midwives, Certified Registered Nurse anesthetists as well as Clinical Nurse Specialists. Read & Download Fact Sheets
